Depends on the options, mileage, color combo, etc. I was originally looking for an e46 M3 but prices on those are crazy right now, so it depends whether I find the right 335i at good price, or the right low mileage M3. I have a beater so I'm in no rush though, car prices are kinda of high right now. That helped me sell my 350z real quick though, so I guess I shouldn't complain!

I have a friend selling his 08 space grey 335xi. he only has 12,000 miles on it. all the extras and dinan tune. He isn't on the forums tho. I think he wants 38 but im not sure. i gotta ask. Only bad thing is that it is paddle shifter automatic.

Yeah, 38 is definitely way more than I'm looking to spend, that's why I'm sticking with 07s. Regardless, 6 speed Manual and RWD is one thing that I'm non negotiable on. Thanks for the heads up though!

Yea thats the way to go. 6 speed manual is a deff. so is rwd. i was just throwing that up. he was talking about getting a truck and selling it.

I MAY be looking to sell mine... depends on if I can get a convertible soon. Car is loaded with everything but active steering and pdc.
I have stage 2 dinan and m6 reps, 6spd manual- '07 total mileage is about 27k(but only 2-3k on new tires)

BUT- it is metallic black on black

edit- but if 38k is "way more" than you want to spend, I'm not sure this car is for you.

I think some people forget their 335i's are a depreciating asset (not talking about you, but some of the PMs I've gotten). $38k is about $10k more than a nice loaded 335i coupe can be bought for, and that's without even negotiating the price as I've found at least 10 selling for around $27k give or take $1000. I'm in no rush, I'll pay what a car is worth but I'm definitely not going to overpay. And yeah, sorry but not really interested in black, although I'd consider sapphire black if it was something I couldn't pass up. Thanks for the responses guys.

You should be able to find a nicely equipped 07 with low mileage for 26-30k. Why are you saying the prices are high on e46 m3's? I've seen some great deals 5 months ago when I was looking.

i saw a e46 M3 for $23k with low miles before I got the 335 and that was over a year ago. I felt it was too good to be true though and I passed on it.

Glad I did or I would of been that I was throwing money into a car that gets easily beat by a sexy 335

I had someone PM saying they'd sell me their 07 for $35k, in June. I've found 08s with about 23k miles, fully loaded for $30k.


I was looking to keep it under $25k if possible, but at this point I might hold off a few months as I don't see anything decent for that much.

Most M3 owners are looking for $4-6k above blue book, and the average price I'm finding is $22k for an 02 with about 80k miles. Even at Mannheim auctions, they're fetching about $20k then you add in shipping and fees and you're at $22k + as well. I missed a couple good deals at $18k but that's because I hadn't sold my Z yet. I saw better deals on M's a few months ago as well, that's why I'm saying theyre a bit over priced now.
