Hello All,

I used to be able to play DVD movies on my 09 iDrive (tried it out when I first got the car). The past few times I've tried (with different DVDs as well), the screen goes to the DVD screen, and then reverts back to the radio. Ejected the disc, tried again, and same issue.

Has anyone encountered this / found a fix?

Maybe a bad disc? Maybe a bad DVD drive?

Had the exact same issue took it back to the dealer and had them update my car and that addressed the issue.

I used the POI issue to justify the update as they initially did not think the updating would fix the DVD issue.
