The pre-wiring on the cars always worked with both XM and sirius. I have XM hooked up through the existing wiring.

It is the same company now so it doesn't really matter. Just get the standard BMW OEM sirius module.

It is the same company now. I went with XM for some reason, just dont remember why. I love my little receiver though.

Guys - I just picked up an '09 E90LCI 335 w/out Sat Radio. Is it just a matter of connecting the cables in the trunk to the stock head unit in the car? Sorry if this is a stupid question. An audiophile I am not.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.
