electronics geeks, help me wire this garage door opener
i know some of you out there have crazy electronics skills...so help me out please.
attached are the photos. basically i need to know where to solder a wire to connect these. if you need a bigger photo so you can explain where to solder i can provide one asap. this is the clicker i have this is the button i bought(top and bottom view in case you need to read the specs) inside of the clicker(side with the buttons on it) inside of the clicker (reverse side) |

It looks like button 3 is the one that opens the garage door. Am I correct? or am I interpreting the diagram wrong?
You'll want to solder a wire to each of the pins I highlighted. These wire should then connect to position 1 and 2 (or 2 and 3) on the switch. You should make sure that the switch that you have is a pushbutton switch (ala the buttons on the circuit board), not a toggle (i.e. like the buttons on clicky pens) Last edited by r3volution; 01-25-2010 at 08:49 PM.. |
