New E92 owner

Just wanted to say what's up guys. I'm taking delivery on my new E92 any day now at Motorwerks. Just came back from my european delivery trip last month and love the car, just the wait it killing me. Hopefully this is the week I get reunited with my car.

I previously owned a 2004 Acura TL, and the only guy I *know* is Jesal (Crazy Bimmer) from another car forum who "helped" convince me to pull the trigger after seeing sweet pics of his car!

Yeah ..tell me about the wait...that was one of the most anxiety filled moments in my life ...but heck its totally worth it to Ed the car and that too the 335i.

Any mods planned for the car yet?? if you are thinking about procede ...pm me i can help.

Thanks guys.

Yes I did go through Irv, great CA, best car buying experience, Irv is very helpful and nice. The ED experience was awesome, its the best way to buy a car hands down. You can find my Euro Delivery experience at Bimmerfest, I'm providing the link incase you want to check it out.

I have some mods already sitting at my place, lol, right now mostly cosmetic, but I'll be contacting Anthony @ A&L for some PSS9 action and deciding if I want Bastuck or Eismann exhaust, haven't decided yet. Not sure on the piggy bag yet, I'd like to enjoy the stock power for now and decide later down the line.

I agree Irv is by far the best CA. what week are you on? It took my car 6 weeks exactly to arrive by Torrent.

It wont be too long before you will be itching for more power...wait and watch. This car is addicting.

Enjoy your car!

Welcome and congrats on your new ride.

Anthony & Ilia hooked me up with the Bastuck quad and so far I'm really happy with it. I will eventually post a pic... once the car is a bit cleaner and I have some free time during what little daylight we have right now. Its sound is quite a bit deeper, especially at start & low RPM. During normal driving you will not notice much difference. I've read that it will eventually get a bit louder, I have less than 300 mi on it since the install. Running through the gears sounds awesome.

As hard as it is for me to say this, the one thing that sucks about this car now is that I cannot have fun with it anymore due to this craptastic weather. Cold + wet + RFT = :sad0147:

New tires and maybe even LSD are on the way. But what I need most is warmer weather and I'll just have to wait for it.

Vinod,

This is week 5, the car left on a truck yesterday, hopefully I will have it Thursday-Saturday, preferably by Friday though. The wait is making me sick to my stomach.

kpcoupe,

I got sapphire black!

funny how everyone loves Irv but I had a bad experience with him and his dealer. I think he's a sponsor here though so I should probably keep my mouth shut.

Speak your mind man, tell us your story! I have a terrible experience at Perillo but some people love the place. Each persons experience is different. Did you try ED with Irv or regular sale? When did you try to work with Irv? I remember reading problems with motorwerks/irv a few years back, but I think times have changed.

I have had a great experience and would definitely recommend him, but I'm sure its not the case with everyone. I originally was working with someone at Fields (a friend purchased from there, I called HIS CA) and had a bad experience so I went elsewhere.
