battery replacement type

given that it's so hard to ascertain the battery type without fully withdrawing the battery, is there solid advice on which type battery in a '07 e91?

any 80/90/100 Ah battery will be fine as long as you code & register it to the car

So the car has been happy for a few years on this battery. But other threads suggest it's 'too small' - see photo of battery bay. The battery is E9
As there is no IBS on the negative terminal I presume no coding necessary

apparently Varta E9 (type 067) is correct for older E91s without IBS
