First official "mod" is in the books. Went matte and single slat. May still yet try out the double slat in a gloss finish just to see which I prefer.



Unfortunately, the blacked out side markers I ordered didn't fit, so I have a new set that should work on the way. Tint is still a month out thanks to the WuFlu backlog. Also got a set of Focal IFBMW-S ordered to help out the HiFi system. Had the same set of 6.5 components from them for over a decade on two separate vehicles before this one, love their stuff. Have an Eonon head unit and a backup camera ready to install too. Still debating on whether to hook up one or both of my old JL 12w6's since only one of the JL 500/1v2 amps are currently functional. I feel like this little car doesn't really need two 12w6's, they were originally for a 93 Chevy Caprice which has a bit more square footage lol. Anyway, some Apex wheels, suspension (B12 or coilovers) and maybe a set of f30 brakes will be on the agenda for 2021.

I'm probably the only person that likes the chrome grilles it seems lol. I think the double slat on like a glossy finish would look good on black though.

I liked mine a lot, just that my car doesn't have any chrome trim but what it had on the grille up front and I'll be going dark on this one not chrome and shiny.

I sold my '07 e92 about 9 months ago now and haven't been back on e90post since then. The other day, I walked by someone in a really clean classy example of an '07 or '08 e92 and it got me nostalgic. I think the design has aged well and can still look very modern if well taken care of, despite the design being 13+ years old.

Anyway, here's a shot of mine when it was put up for sale last October. I miss it and I think I made a mistake, haha. I'm biased, but I still think it was a heck of a deal for the buyer. Hope he's been taking care of it.

Thank you, just running some eBay H11 LED bulbs, yes 6000 kelvin temp, nothing fancy.
