I've been working with Dave at 360 Autobody to create a brochure for his business. I am in the process of creating it but I need people that are willing to come to his shop for no more than an hour and fill out an evaluation form critiquing my brochure.

For people that come, I will provide food and snacks - maybe I will even get my Dad to cook some Thai food for you guys if you're interested.

The date is Saturday May 14th at 12:30pm, at 360 Autobody

(Also, is anyone here into advertising or marketing? I need an "expert" in this field to fill out a special evaluation form!)

Actual attendance at my event is the primary goal, however I just got permission from my instructor to receive evaluation forms by email. If you're interested in helping out but cannot make it to the event, please let me know by PMing me your email address and on May 13th I will send out evaluation forms along with the ads I created. The forms will need to be sent back in by May 15th, as I will need to prepare a report of my event for the 16th.

Probably not as many ppl from WA would go down to bimmerfest. So you can probably get enough ppl besides me.

I have my degree in PR, so I was in a similar boat. Whats the evaluations for? You have to actually be there to fill it out?

It's preferred by my school for attendance, but if you really can't make it I'll see if I can make an exception for you and send you the evaluation and brochure digitally.

Typical evaluation forms for regular attendees is just circling grades 1-5 for different things, such as are the photographs professional? Is it easy to read? Is there a good balance in photos and text? That sort of stuff.

For "experts" the evaluation forms will be modified, so for you with a degree in PR, you may be grading on whether the ads portray the bodyshop in a positive light and other things. Nothing too complicated.

+1 for a digital copy. I work on the weekends so I wouldn't be able to make it. I'm curious, what are you studying?

This is for my high school senior project, titled "Commercial Photography: From Behind the Lens to the Press". It's supposed to be a study of commercial photography (using studio equipment such as strobes and such) with graphic editing using Adobe InDesign to create ads and brochures using photos I've taken.

Still working on getting that exception for you, I'll let you know if it's possible. In the meantime, could you PM me your email address? Thanks

I just got permission from my instructor to receive evaluation forms digitally. This means that even if you cannot go, you can still fill out an evaluation form. If you are willing to do so, please let me know and post your emails up (or PM). On May 13th I will send out the form along with the ads (brochures + other, yet-to-be-made ads) to your email. Thanks guys!

However, this does not mean that you can all opt to do it digitally. I still encourage you guys to come out because actual attendance is still a required part of my project!
