Cylinder 6 Misfire

Before you say "this has been on the forums multiple times there's plenty of answers" trust me I've tried everything.

I have an '08 E90 N54 and am running precision coil packs, Ngk 1 step plugs, and index 12 injectors.

Replaced spark plugs multiple times, check coil packs and harnesses for damage, replaced decouplers and seals, cleaned carbon buildup, nothing is working.

Keep getting that cylinder 6 misfire, I'm getting so tired of this shit

Logs?

If you have exhausted all of those options and the problem persists, I would do a compression test and/or leak down test.

Having the same issue but I'm cyl 3, does your car misfire a bit on start up and go away after the rpms drop?
How do your fuel pump pressure look like under load?

Have you swapped Plugs/Coils/Injectors with another cylinder to to see if the misfire follows?

Could be your DME - the MSD80 chips (known as MOSFETs) are known to go bad and you have an ’08.

Here’s a thread on the issue: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...734162&page=16

I also see no mention of you doing a compression or leakdown test, so I guess you haven't tried everything.

Low compression can also cause misfires not just plugs/coils/injectors. Also to note that some have experienced compression losses due to loose/faulty installation of the injector seals which causes blow by. I myself had issues with this and was fixed with new seals that were properly installed using the correct tool.
