Maersk Wind here...just chg'd this am to VPC but my agent emailed me Mon saying it was on a truck; due here Fri....so those that show VPC are all prob on a trk & if u were on Maersk Wind most of them prob are..

Damn! Damn! Damn! The OC still says "in transit" on mine. Why is my luck like this? Guys way out in Chicago are getting their cars before me. I mean the damn truck is going to pass right by me on I-10 to get to Pineville, LA and not have my car on it. Why couldn't the damn truck have my car and make a quick stop before it went all the way out to LA? I am very happy for all of you that will be getting your cars in the next few days. I am just a little dissapointed that the stupid web page still says "in transit to VPC" for me when people have been upgraded and are getting their cars in the next few days. This sucks!

I am told by the BMW phone that my Maersk car is "in transit", just where it has been forever. OC says it is on way to processing center. And my CA called the VPC on Monday and they were clueless.
Gee, I haven't had this much fun in a really long time. BMW is really starting me off on the right foot! I hope it improves and I love the car or it is back to 997 land. |

As promised here are the first pictures of my E93.
Right now, I am real happy with the car and the color choices. The details are E93 328i, Black Sapphire w/Black Leather, Aluminum Trim, Premium, Comfort Access/Loading, 6 speed manual. I went out and bought a Bluetooth phone (LG VX 8350) and after some minor fiddling with the phone book that all seems to work great. It took me 106 days from order to delivery, so there is hope for all of y'all that have been waiting, and it's worth it! |

If you have picked your car up recently and have Nav, which version of the navigation map are you getting? Are you all getting the 2008 revision or the 2007-2 version? I believe Navteq was supposed to release the 2008 revision in Feb of 08. Just want to know so that when I do pick up my car and the dealer tries to pull a fast one on me I am armed with knowledge.

I've been lurking and monitoring this thread as my car was on the Maersk Wind. To update everyone and give them an idea of when they can expect theirs, my car got to the dealer today. Good luck with yours!
