Finally had a chance to put the 225s on the car this weekend. Currently installed without a spacer and the coilovers are set really really low. As far as I can tell no rubbing, but not really the look I am going for.
Planning to raise it up a bit on all four corners and add spacers to get a more flush and grown up look. The slammed and tucked look is fun, but its not super driveable for a DD. Look forward to comments. Crappy rain and iPhone photos for now...had to get back to watching the Masters |

love it
Starting my own journey right now... only swapped the grille for black and new 19 w 8.5 245 and 9.5 275. Next is putting in smoked reflectors and debadge then deciding on suspension.
Living in Alberta and constantly in the mountains with snow through the winter, not sure if i should lower or not... going to try a winter at stock then decide. |

Looks great! Coilovers would be a good option so you can adjust the ride height. The rears can be a pain, but once you figure it out its not horrible.

Looking great man. The steering wheel is really interesting! Looks like a nice alternative to swapping out for sport wheel.

I couldn't justify purchasing a new (or taking a chance on a used) airbag, so I went this route. Its much better than stock in my opinion. I purchased it from a forum member in Eastern Europe, cant recall which country.

Looks fantastic!
PS I worked on SPA while I worked at HGA, helped model all of of those white perforated metal screens. Have yet to see it in person but certainly looks great in photos, makes for a nice backdrop.

Thanks all. Had the valve cover gasket replaced and the clutch delay valve removed. Water pump in the next week or two. I think I will keep her!

Nice thread. I will be following closely.
Have you considered swapping in the 330i 3-stage intake manifold? Mine was installed by PO but the numbers are compelling. Feels just about as strong as an S52 above 4k. |

I have, but not too seriously. I don't drive this car a whole lot, especially with any spirit. I am lucky enough to have a 98 M3 as well.
