Eurocharged 08' 328i tune review
So I've been on the fence for a while now about whether or not to get a tune for my car, it's hard to judge how much you will gain from one as everyone's opinions in reviews are different. I just decided to get it done especially since I found Jake, a local Eurocharged tuner who could take care of everything without me having to mail in my ecu. It took a little over an hour to get everything set up, and my only other mod to this car, engine related, was an injen intake. As soon as we were done we took the car out for some pulls and the tune far exceeded my expectations. I didn't want to let off the gas pedal, the car just begs to be driven harder now in all gears. Of course I had to stop by each of my car buddies houses and give them all rides and even they all were impressed. I'm just everytime I need to go somewhere now.

too soon to tell. maybe is the placebo effect. CPU needs a fair amount of engine cicles to relearn new settings. (only my opinion)
Lou.

Hey buddy, glad you like it!!!! It feels like a new car huh? If anyone else is interested, feel free to PM me or EC!!
Actually, the ECU is immediately changed. EC, if you are local, will do a before/after dyno for you and the results are immediate. HOWEVER, give it 100-200 more miles, and you will GAIN even more power.

Yeah, I was also told that I would gain even more power after some miles, but there is no doubt that it already pulls much much harder, it used to die off severely in the upper rpms, and now it just pulls to redline. Just call, email, or pm Euro Charged for a price on your vehicle, I think it depends on the year and other factors.

Damm, sounds like you've got a supercharger or something huh.
EC, Any good news for a Euro 2009 LCI 325i 2.5L engine? The car is equipped with a stock 3-stage intake manifold from the factory. I had an ESS flash, it's OK. A minor gain, but nothing like what OP's describe.

For those wondering, I put down 209whp on EC's tune. Dyno was a low reading Dyno Dynamics.

your supporting mods will make dyno readings vary a touch also, some intakes or exhausts will make a touch more power than others, but generally its pretty close.
Also remember each engine isn't EXACTLY 230bhp and 200ft/lbs stock, some engines will read a few hp higher, some a few lower... just how the cars are built. |
