Wheels?Tires? 335is very unstable!

Gentlemen, I have a problem with the tires / wheels.
Car at speeds above 100km / h is terribly unstable.
I bet that the previous owner was drifting and drifting, because I can not imagine driving in a different way this car at such driveability.

Now, I have apex wheels :
Front - 19x9J ET35
Back - 19x9,1 / 2 ET33

Tires bridgestone:
Front 245/35 R19 654,10mm
Rear 275/30 R19 647,60mm
a difference of 6.5 mm

But should be:
Front - 225/35 R19 wheel diameter - 640,10mm
Rear 255/30 R19 635,60 mm diameter of wheels
difference - 4.5 mm

DO YOU KNOW WHAT RIMS and ET i should have or which tires to this wheels?

When I put 4 wheels 225/50 R17 656,80 mm diameter ( i do not know the ET ) car drives perfectly.

EDIT: should be :

Front : 8Jx19, ET37, cb 72.56mm,
Rear : 9Jx19, ET39, cb 72.56mm,

Im runing thise tires size on my alufelgens 245/275. It should be fine rolling diameter about the same. Are they balanced correctly?
Define unstable?

Given all the drifting videos I been seeing out of Warsaw, Lodz, and Poznan; I would say your intuition is probably correct.

That wheel tire combo is fine. I have the same but 235 front at the moment. I've had 245 before. I'm guessing it's something else. Struts or bushings check first. Then control arms. This is assuming the wheels and tires are in good shape.

Easy way to see if control arms are fucked:

Drive
Hit the brakes hard
while you are braking have someone watch the front wheels, if they shake when you hit the brakes then the control arms need to be replaced

Hang on, you said it drives perfectly when the 17s are on.. So that should rule out the suspension components.. Did you check to make sure your other wheels are NOT bent and that they are properly balanced?

I believe stock offset is as follows:
ET35 Fronts and ET33 Rears

Although personally I am running 30 front and 25 rear on 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 respectively

Yes, they are balanced correctly.
Unstable I mean the back of the car turns left and right and loosing traction when I move stearing wheel or overtake another cars even on very good street. On the straight it drives correctly.

Everything is technically efficient.

Suspension OK. I am sure that the problem is in wheels/tires they are too wide. The car is divergent/discrepancy. Wheels balanced 100%.

My rears are 275/30-19 on 19x9.5 et35. Stable. If you feel loose in the tear side to side it may be poor rear subframe bushings.

But it drives fine with 17s, would there be such a significant difference with the 19s? I'm thinking one of his wheels is messed up.

Ithe should feel more stable side to side with 19s than 17s. Width won't have anything to do either it in this situation. 17s will have more sidewall height so more sidewall flex. I'm guessing bad wheel or tire. Try replacing the tires first. Inspect wheels when you do. If wheels are round and undamaged it's probably a bad tire sidewall.

Plenty of 335is owners running 245/275 and 235/275 with no issues whatsoever. You might want to check that whoever sold you the car didn't sell it to you with bald all-season tires.

Yeah the tire size isn't an issue. If anything it would be more stable.

Maybe bad wheel then. If you can test with a different set might show you what's what.

Ok guys. I am going to leave my car in service.
I asked them to check one more time - Maybe suspension or bushings...
I will let you know when I will solve my problem.
It is very strange that you have the same tires and no problems with them.

THANK YOU ALL

This tire size setup is the most common upgrade size on our cars. As long as the tires fit the rim width, tire size has nothing to do with stability. You should be stable with 205 or 295. No difference. It's either a suspension problem or defective wheel or tire. Nothing more. I'm going to 245 front 305 rear and plan on doing close to 200 mph on closed tracks with that setup.

Definitely not the problem. I run 275/35/18 front and 315/30/18 in the rear. No problems. Your alignment is probably messed up.

Sounds like bad tired or balancing, not bad size. The sizing has nothing to do with it. I've has a defective tire before. Looks fine but rides like crap. You probably just had a bad tire or balancing issue.

I'm actually at the moment trying to decide which combo of wheels and tires would be optimal for acceleration traction in 19s of possible, 18s if necessary. Looking at 285, 295, and 305 for the rear, 245 for the front. Gonna roll and stretch. At the moment, avant garde 19x11 rear et45 with 305/30-19 are the top pick.
