Just got my new wheels. I might lower it just a bit. But living in the city is making my choice hard. The rough roads and that evil Divisadero hill, is giving me nightmares of me ripping off my front bumper because it's lowered.

Congrats on the new wheels and if your inexperienced with a lowered car then don't lower it, i'm lowered and I know alot of people who are lowered that lives in the city and we still have our bumpers intact

You should come out to the Tanforan meet tonight though.

My Lakers showing the Warriors what's up tonight!

Just ordered some LED turn signal bulbs (want to get rid of all amber).
Anyone have any experience with resistors? I read up a little on them and they don't seem to difficult to install.

F the Lakers... Warriors just didn't show up for some reason. No worries though, Warriors are upcoming and Lakers are on their way out.

It's the Lakers....they're never on the way out. Lol
The warriors do have a solid young team though. Harrison Barnes looks like he can be the real deal.

Meets are every Friday at 9:30 but sometimes we go earlier and for us SF and Daly City locals we go to Tanforan Starbucks.

My Front is lower than yours and I live and drive all over the city with my E92 for the last 5 years without ripping my bumper. Occasional scrape on driveways, but even stock cars scrape some times.

GO LOWER.

+1

I'm maxxed out on my coilovers and I still want to go lower but I occassionally scrape maybe it's because I have experience with a lowered car.

Screw resistors you don't want the hassle of installing them and splicing wires. Just get your bulbs coded out and replace all your bulbs with LEDs. That's what I did. No errors, no flickering. So much less hassle and worry free than installing resistors.

Well these are splice-free resistors I guess, but that sounds like a more convenient solution. Who in the bay area can do some coding?

Very interesting. What kind of power can a person realistically expect from installing headers?

I still have my stock setup so, i was really contemplating What springs will let me lower it about 0.8" or and inch that's about as low as I want to go. My 2004 318i was lowered with Eibach Sports springs and I tore my front bumper off going into the marina Safeway parking lot. I loved the clean look and handling of it but was super paranoid pulling into parking lots!!! Any suggestions would be appreciated, I was looking at H&R springs.

Refinish those in red with a polished lip and slap on a 10mm for the rear. Done deal!
