Could be propshaft coupling, bearing & or damper ring. That's where I'd look first.
Good luck

I've got a similar issue with mine at the moment. Get a annoying vibration at around 55-60mph, then its seems to fade and then come back at around 75-80mph. Thought it might've been a poorly balanced wheel or a wheel weight fallen off as I have had new front tyres recently. However the vibration is coming through the seat and not the steering wheel so I'm guessing it's not a wheel balance issue and more to do with the prop.
Got my mate looking at it on Tuesday so I'll report back then! |

Well my mate had a look at my car last night and couldn't really find anything wrong. The only thing he thought was odd was that one of my resr wheels has no weights on at all and one or two of the other wheels don't have weights on either the inside or outside edge. So it looks like my vibration may just be a wheel balancing issue.
As soon as I get time I'll get them all balanced and report back. |

Well had all the wheels balanced which cost me bloody £40! And the vibration is still there. Going back to my mate at some point for further investigations.

Mate had another look tonight and can find absolutely nothing wrong. Since having the wheels balanced the vibration has improved but not gone completely. It might just be me as I doubt anyone else would notice it - my wife certainly hasn't but then I guess that's just women! Its just a little annoying as I know it's still there, even if it's only a tiny bit. I recon its something to do with the front tyres cos it just seems like a bit of a coincidence that it has come about since I had them replaced.
Oh well guess I can avoid it by either staying under 55 or by just going about 90 everywhere! |

That's a kind offer, but no, no one near me (that I know of) with spare wheels. Like I've said its really not that bad since having the wheels balanced and most people wouldn't even notice. It's just a little annoying more than anything because I know it's there. I guess as time passes if there is anything wrong it will get worse to the point where something will stand out. But for now as everything has been checked over and given the ok, I'm not to worried about it.

take caliper off and refurb,,but easiest way is to buy one from arparts4less,,then when new one is fitted,,you send the old one back for a refund,,around £100 when credited back..so not bad,,
