Stereo upgrading

So i got my 2010 3 Series 318d M Sport 2 weeks ago, and loving it at the moment. Got a little issue with an exhaust blow which i'm getting sorted on Friday.
One thing i'd like to do though is to make the stereo bluetooth, it's an original stereo and it has the phone logo on the front and the steering wheel has it as well.
How easy is it to add a module and make it able to receive calls etc. Would it allow me to play the music on my phone as well?
I have a little bluetooth set up through the AUX button but having it through the stereo properly would be lovely.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I would suggest go eBay and purchase a professional head unit with built in blue tooth .Then get the mic to fit in the courtesy light cluster.

The bluetooth modules are in the boot aren't they? is the wiring there or is it something that would require a lot of work and money to sort?

They might be in the boot if it is fitted.

If you got around 700 quid, take a look at these guys: https://www.facebook.com/AdcBmw/

They do a proper job when it comes to retrofitting or fitting non-OEM systems (which are far better than CCC/CIC)
