Changing seats fix fault?

Hello, i was rear ended in my car and the active head restraints were set off, so now i have an airbag light on.
Prior to getting rear ended i was planning to swap my current seats for leather ones. If i were to do this and they were leather seats without active head restraints, if installed correctly would this clear the warning light?

You would need to have the active head restraints coded out I would think.
