Question Using different iDrive controller | is it k-can1 controller

Hello, I am doing a cic mid (9239323) retrofit in my e91. Tried to find an answer but wasn't able to: can I use F30 iDrive controller (65829286699) with it? I know that mounting is different but that isn't a problem, the only concern is will it work? - That is clear, it doesn't.

Now maybe someone knows if this 9249439 controller is using k-can1 or simply does it fit E91 pre lci?

Thanks

P.S. maybe someone knows how to wire an aux cable to cic (9239323)?

Thanks
K can 2 vs K can 1. It will not work.

Just to make sure I am not talking about the one that has a touch feature. Is this 7 button controller (65829286699) really uses K-can 2?

Correct, You need to buy a over priced $200 E series CIC controller. All F series controllers will not work.

they are not overpriced, they are in deficit because they are failing in some time and nobody can fix them due the reason that nobody have firmware for chip and it is protected
also early F01 CIC controllers die in a same way
