Downpipes were just installed on my car and damn, it pulls much harder. Cant wait to install the intake on Friday. Vince still want to help me do the O2 simms? I havent thrown a code yet with the downpipes on.

No you wont. The whole point is to just have fun, dont worry about times. Dont get me wrong our cars are QUICK but you will be disappointed when you pull up to a supra or another track car, those are FAST. lol. Just a nice day to hang out and open up the cars down the track. Stops the temptation to speed on the streets.

For all that are going to this meet, there will be another one in April/May. Sound Performance is going to rent the track out. Ill post a thread once I get the final date, but basically there will only be about 50-75 cars of SP customers and im extending it out to you guys too. You can hot lap it around the track if you wanted too. There was like a 30 second wait last year. Price will be about $20ish a person. Stay tuned for more info.

Last Nov I met up with Chitown335 for my first trip to GLD (or any strip for that matter), was a blast. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. This will be my second time, so I'm not exactly a pro either.

If you guys are interested. I can make a DVD of our day at the track and the photoshoot in the parking garage. DVD's will sell for $15. If there is enough interest I will do it with Pinnacle Studio. Videos come out great and My camera will record in HD.

This is gonna be cool - I used to have an IS350 stock that did 13.228 at GLD... but I'm going to be in the 12's for sure this time (I'm no longer stock). I know some of you guys are running some tunes - will you guys be using 100 octane or regular 93? I don't think I can compete with the race gas tunes, but I'm thinking I might give the 93 octane tunes a good run.

I remember racing a IS at GLD last year in nov. but I kept misfiring due to a bad spark plug and coil. Got it fixed though. The IS launches well. does it have LSD? Either way man, its going to be a fun day. Im sure there are going to be some much faster cars then us. but I think my favorite part is going to be the cruz down to GLD. Last year was fun just three wayed everyone and had some of the guys on the bluetooth. It was funny cause I remember anthony with his Jeep SRT8 pulling on some guy with a souped up civic Si. As soon as anthony hit it and flew past him the guy just chilled out. The more people the better. Are you inviting anyone from the Lexus forums since I see you have an account there.

I suppose I can ask Paul AKA oblivionis (he had the 13.3 last nov when you ran) I believe. I'll post up to see if we can get some Lexus guys to come by - but it'll be boring because all the ISs will run the same because there's no mods for them.

Ill run straight 93. Be more than happy to grab a lane with you. My tune is made for straight 93 octane. We should be a good race then if your in the 12's.

Lexus Vs BMW...... Maybe we can bet on the race, get a pot going, BMW guys vs. Lexus guys. LOL I have a feeling the Lexus guys may be pull out
