Harold's chicken has good chicken. Navy pier is an attraction and you could take a boat over to the shedd aquarium you could waste a whole day in this area. Look up the blue man group also! Thats a good show.

When I have friends visiting I usually take them to Second City for some hilarious Improv, their alumni list is legendary...

http://www.secondcity.com/?id=theatres/chicago

It is in the Old Town neighborhood, which is easy to get to via public transport

Talk to Carlos, you can probably meat up with him at one of his favorite bars if it's a weekend. From what I hear he's usually either at The Man Hole or The Tool Box.

When are you coming out (to chicago, that is)? During the summer there is always a street festival going on somewhere.

I don't know who Carlos is.

I'm so surprised that you guys are suggesting Uno's, I figured since it was a chain restaurant it wouldnt be as great. I'll try it out anyways, but they have Uno's around me. Would it be the same?

I actually saw the Blue Man Group in vegas, its a pretty nice show.

I'm planning on being there in mid july.

Yeah, it will likely be the same or pretty close. It was a Chicago original though, that is why and depending on where you are from you may not have one near you. Go to Gino's East then.

There has got to be somewhere where the city posts its schedule of street festivals...anyone?

yeah there is a big difference between your local Uno's Chicago Grille and the original Uno with the original oven from like the 1940's. The place kicks ass and is always busy. The chains suck, went to one in Madison a while back and it was the worst pizza I've ever had. Went to the real Uno's last summer and it was as delich as ever.

I am a big fan of Edwardo's - http://www.edwardos.com/

Chicago magazine just did their top 25 pizza list, I have been to at least half and the ratings are pretty spot on

Consider the description...fresh, balanced and distinctive.

Frickin margherita and cremini mushroom and artichoke do not belong in the chicago pizza world....so immediately dismiss those places as places you should go. If you are looking for weirdo fruity pizza just go to a California Pizza kitchen and call it a day.

Now if you want sausage, cheese and grease that defines chicago, that is different. I love Pequod's and have been going to the original in Morton Grove for as long as I can remember....it is awesome and I am glad they made the list. Not sure if they still have the Chicago location.

12. MACELLO - BIANCA

Is that a pizza place or an escort service?

One thing we all forgot to mention is that while you are in town, you need to head up to Northbrook to WSTO's new facility/showroom to check out all your future mods!

Johan: Make check payable to AFV Managment.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I know since most of you live in town, you probably never heard of this, but does anyone know if the GoChicago Card or City Pass worth the money?
