EGR/SCR/DPF Delete Questions..
I'm having major issues with the emissions system on my 335d with about 100k miles.
I want to delete the SCR,DPF,EGR all in one go. I've been away from the forums for quite awhile, is JR AutoTuning still the best tune to delete all the emissions? Can someone take a look and see if the below is all I need to delete these? DPF delete: https://www.tunemyeuro.com/buzzken-b...-delete-kit-3/ EGR delete: https://www.tunemyeuro.com/eco-bille...5-35d-aar2353/ SCR delete: Could use some help here on the most cost effective and permanent way on this one.

Also there are other cheaper options that are just as good Downpipe - https://www.vr-speed.com/vrsf-335d-s...-bmw-335d.html EGR delete - https://*************************/co...placement-pipe - The Nazi moderators blocked the link.. look up Whitbread performance Exhaust - https://www.atmspeedshop.com/collect...w-335d-exhaust Tune- BRR is way cheaper than JR |

I'm looking at the BRR website and I don't see the 335d in their store. Is it custom? Is the exhaust required for SCR delete?

BRR doesn't have a website yet, if you are interested I can give you his information. The SCR can be gutted if you want to keep the stock exhaust, just cut a hole big enough and the whole filter element or whatever you want to call it comes out, some people cut a smaller hole and start cutting chunks out of it until all of it is gone. |

Sorry to hijack, but is this basically the same in the X5 35d? Obviously slightly different parts. Cost-wise, is it better to gut the SCR, or replace and resell the original?

If you buy a delete kit for the x5d, which you should because it'll come with the second egr block off plate and It will have the scr delete pipe with it. This is the easiest way to do it, if you just buy a downpipe you'll still need a block off plate for the second egr and you'll have to gut the scr which mean you'll have a massive can that'll create back pressure in your exhaust. I don't care what anyone says but diesels don't like back pressure you want a free flowing exhaust. So I recommend deleting the scr all together and just sell it.

I think sadly I know the answer to my question, just wasn't sure if any veterans in CA knew any work arounds with tuning etc... or had any alternate ideas to get the benefits in Ca with still being compliant....

There are no work around. California has added cameras now to diesel smog shops.
