Also put extensions on o2 bungs a few weeks ago.
They were sitting 10mm into the manifold and would most likely get hot as and fail pretty quick.
Welded a 10mm spacer to help a bit.

Had to get new fittings for the transmission cooler.
I will get them fitted this wknd.

The driveshaft will be here next week which will be good.

Then a bit of vacuum lines, wiring and starting it up. (A bit more then that but weeks to go now not months)

Only small things to go now

Need more time for thread seal to cure on turbo feed and transmission npt fittings.

Thought about starting it but ill just wait until tomorrow. Had coils unplugged, lpfp unplugged and jumper box hooked up then thought about the thread sealer.

Tomorrow arvo its on.

With the temperature up in Darwin, it won't take long for the engine to warm up after you start it. My daughter came back from there today and said it was 39.9C at some wildlife park she was visiting yesterday.

Cranked it a few times to get the oil going.

Put coils and lpfp fuse back in. Accidentally put it in 42 i stead of 40 its been that long.
Put it in 40 5 seconds later fired up.
It just goes for 5 seconds then shuts off.

Hooking mhd up to it now to see whats going on.

Drive shaft turned up today.
Put it straight in.
Put heat wrap on vacuum lines.

Put wastegate pipe on. Still need to tighten them.

Then I can put the exhaust on so it doesn't sound like a tractor.
