Haven't seen a few of them for the past year, I assume they moved or grew up and stopped being aholes, lol. It was so damn frustrating, you talk to them nicely to leave the car alone and they just keep doing it to piss you off. I couldn't even tell the parents to keep their kids in check because one of the parents actually encouraged the kid to come over and f with my car. Kid literally jumped on my hood with me standing next to my car. :

Put a note on your car in plain sight that simply says "You are being recorded on CCTV" They will stop.

a note might get them to stop.. catching them red handed will allow you to sue in S.C. court.

Agreed, they should have talked with you like adults. And like I said, I'm not condoning their actions or some of the suggestions you've received in this thread because they reek of the same mentality as the vandals. Plus it goes without saying that if it was my car I would be working on finding out who and holding them accountable in some way.

My point was simply that it looks like you caused the problem and only you can really resolve it. I don't believe cameras are anything but a very short term solution for a number of reasons, so do you really want to live wondering what you might find some morning? Whether turning off the cold start option on a muffler delete is going to be the ultimate solution, well, I have my doubts, but it's certainly worth a try.

It sounds like you think most people like loud exhaust noise? If so you deserve grease on all 4 of you brake discs.

Yeah I would try turning it off. See if that helps with unwanted visitors.

Is this a joke?

I'm pretty sure you cannot go and damage all the supercars just because of their exhaust note.

I'm not saying anyone should go around damaging supercars. I'm just saying that it looks like the OP is probably victimising the entire lower floor of the block with his loud exhaust while pretending to be a victim himself. If it's true he deserves worse. He demands respect for his property while he has no respect for his neighbour's peace and mental well-being.

It's not THAT loud. There is a challenger 392 that parks right by me that's just as loud if not louder. Stock too.

It could be the Challenger isn't obnoxiously driving/revving at high RPMs, while OP is doing that.

OP, can you confirm if you've honestly been driving loud on purpose especially to hear the sweet satisfaction of your exhaust note in an enclosed area?

I'd say that is a bit excessive. Someone's exhaust is loud so potentially causing an accident is proper punishment? Nice.

Being a bad/loud neighbor doesn't justify vandalism or physical attacks. I'd make it a priority to place a small camera high up on a light post or pillar to catch them quickly and then call the Police. There is nothing better than catching a thief. All the video and pictures of the damage will allow you to press charges and sue them for damages. Imagine them applying for a job or a mortgage with a felony vandalism charge on their record...revenge!

I'm not being loud on purpose. The car is cold anyways so I take it easy. The garage is incredibly tight, one literally can't go more than 5-10mph.
