Replace non-sport LCI seat with Pre-LCI sport seat
So, I have found a set of sports seats in great condition, but believe it comes from a 2007.
Current: 2011 LCI non-sports seats, fully adjustable, lumbar, memory Going to: 2007 Sport seats, fully adjustable, NO lumbar, side bolster, memory - I have no issue with cannibalizing's one set of seats for another's glory. Read a few threads, and 0I'm assuming I have the following concerns: - Understand its best to just swap the seat belt buckles over. No problem. - Active headrest in the non-sport seat. Can I just transplant it from my current LCI one somehow? Or is my only option to code it out and not have the AHR option? - If I want lumbar, can I retro the lumbar back into the 2007 seat? I read I would need to share the pin connection for the side bolsters - true? how? - Is there a scenario where I do the opposite and use the controller of the LCI one in the sport one? - Any other thoughts or things I haven't though of? Also any recommended threads as there was a significantly long one focused on heated seats (which I dont need/have/want) |

Lumbar is retrofitable not sure if all are the same or if its non-sport/sport versions(id check real oem on part numbers).
IIRC Active headrest isnt something you can swap over. Assuming both seats are manual/power+mem or non-heated/heated? |

So the headrest couldn't just swap over with the wiring? Shucks, really is just either or then. |
