Code Reading Software (Not Edibas, or INPA etc)

There was a guy that posted an application that was excellent to hop in and read codes and other basic info. I formatted my computer and lost it Can anyone tell me what it was called and hopefully a link to it.

It was quick and useful. I need to get INPA working on this new computer in the meantime. Thanks!

Smile BMW Data Logger

Hi, I think the guys who made this software are charging too high. it is just a data logger. Do you have the full version? If yes share it for all on the forum to have it.
thanks. nasserkarbassi@yahoo.com

I don't. I just like how easy it is to read codes from it.

40 dollars is far from expensive...Cant pass around the full version as it is password protected of some sort, unless you can break his lock..

For anyone wondering, that piece of software (the free version) lets you scan and clear codes, and also register your battery.

To clarify on the battery, it must be same voltage. If new battery isn't, you will need ncsexpert still. I love how easy it is to read codes with it...but I just installed a jb4 with USB Friday

I believe the majority of car batteries will be "12 volt batteries," it's the capacity (amp-hours, or Ah) that should match the original.

That's pretty handy software.. I know a few people in my local club that got into coding strictly to register a new battery. This would have saved them a lot of grief!

Has anyone used this software to clear the engine and auto transmission fault codes claimed to pop up after doing an Active Autowerkes performance software install?
