335i Magnaflow exhaust?

Anyone have experience with the Catback magnaflow exhaust?
If so, does it drone?
Is it too loud? Too quiet?
Are there any other Catback or axel back exhaust systems I should look at? Looking at purchasing an exhaust system in the next day or so. Thank you for the help!

Just get the BMW PE and call it a day. I believe people who have bought the magnablow cat back have not liked it.

If you interested pm me i have 2 universal magnaflow mufflers for sale. I had them on my 335 for 6 months and the sound is very deep and louder.

I had the magnaflow touring on my 07 e90 and was happy with it, wife friendly inside but a good deep growl when on it, very little drone while catless, but it was a 6mt

I suppose the reviews here are based on how sensitive someone is to vibration drone and noise.

Depends if you are running catless downpipes too.

They have 2 different systems. They have 1 that is a single muffler and one that is a dual muffler. The single is my all time favorite exhaust i had on my 335. It was awesome catless.

Is Bastuck still any option? Any first hand reports? The clips I've heard sound amazing.

I used to have Magnaflow mufflers and they were extremely droney. I now have the BMW PE and the sound is one of a kind because it makes the 335i sound very European like which I like. I have catless DP's so it gets a little raspy between 6-7k RPM though but I personally enjoy it because I can tell when I need to shift just by listening.
The video posted above with the Magnaflow exhaust sounds pretty good too if it's priced right.

MT vs AT has a lot to do with it...after the magnaflow, I did a custom catless with only dynomax turbo bullets on my MT, it had some drone, but not that bad and only about a 400 rpm range, when I bought the auto and swapped all my mods, the drone was about 50% worse over about a 1100rpm range...had to add a couple of vibrant resonators to take care of it

I had this. 2 magnaflow mufflers, divorced piping, 2nd cat deletes, stock DP. Vibrations in center console. Drone at 2.5k freeway speeds. AT in my 335i 08. Deep sounds but with that combination, it made a nasty rasp like a honda civic at mid rpms.

It's loud but didn't like it and went to eisenmann with magnaflow x-pipe on stock exhaust piping, stock dp. almost to zero drone and no rasp

Just grabbed a Magnaflow catback (dual muffler) from another forum member and put it on a couple of weeks ago.

There 'is' some drone around the 1700-2300 RPM range, but outside of that there's none at all. When cruising on the freeway I'm above that range, which works for me.

To each his own though.
