Launching N55 e92
How bad is it on the drive train to launch the car on a prepped track? Got e85 fbo stock turbo with stock diff and tranny. I wouldn't expect the driveshaft or axles to bust but maybe the tranny or diff? Let me know if anyone has some wisdom or experience

In my 335i I ran drag radials at the track. I usually launched in 2nd gear but did a 1st gear launch. I brake boosted to about 7 psi and hit 20 psi in first. I hated how hard it shifted into 2nd gear so I stuck with second gear launches.
I probably launched the car 60 times or so at the track. I would leave between 5 psi (older tune) and 12 psi (newer tune) and never had any issues at all. Nothing broke, no wheel hop, nothing at all.
