Nice work here Socket! (and congrats on the 10,000 posts).
Was reading through the manual swap part of your thread with interest as I've done three manual swaps on older BMWs myself - initially an old e21, then two e30s - mine and then my Dad got one and we manual swapped that too. The removable radiator support & rear hinged bonnet is a luxury the classics don't have! Mechanically it looks much the same - how difficult was the coding to switch from auto to manual? Love the ghetto orange hammer from a couple of pages back - I've got one too (gotta love Bunnings). A 1.5kg mini-sledge also comes in very handy |

Ripped off the CF roof wrap this arvo..... was starting to fade and look tired
Removing the wrap was ok, getting the adhesive off the roof duco was a massive pinta 4 hrs later all cleaned up and the roof is back to original Now to get a spcgry bonnet back on |
