E90 330i and BBS SR 17x8

I'm searching for some new wheels, currently have a set of BMW in poor condition.

I've been looking at various OEM models in 17" as I want to keep my current Michelin CrossClimate+ tyres and ride quality. One option is the 194M as fitted to the M-Sport, although my car is an SE.

I like the look of the BBS SR, in 17x8 ET30 fittment but they only come in the gunmetal grey colour. Also, new they around the same cost for a set of BMW OEM wheels depending on condition, maybe more for refurbed set.

They look really good on a later 3-Series in Silver

My car is a stock E90 Pre-LCI 330i, I just can quite work out if its going to work as the rest of the car is quite plain.

That wheel style doesn't look proportional at all in 17 IMO...doesn't do that wheel justice in that small of a size.

I'm currently running the SR in 17x7.5 35et on 235/45 AS3+ if you wanted another view of how they look.

This is on factory non-sport suspension and 20mm rear spacers:

Thanks, I think that looks good although I think the grey finish helps, not so sure now they would suit a car in Silver.

I've now decided to keep it simple and buying a set of 194m alloys.
