M3 Gauge Cluster retrofit

This mod has been extensively covered so I won't be going into installation or anything. I just had a few questions that don't seem to be covered in previous topics...

In regards to the "Foglights" light, M3s never came equipped with them. Does the cluster react accordingly/have the foglight light installed but not active like is does with the euro fogs? I drive with my foglights always on at night so this is a big consideration for me...

The dynamic redline signal is supplied by the DME, correct? People have reported that it stops at 7k without additional coding needed and I wanted to be sure

Does milage of the donor car matter if the cluster will be getting virginized? I will probably source a cluster on eBay and then send it out for virginization/coding and I expect any half competent coder will make sure the returned cluster is plug-and-play but want to be absolutely sure...

I have seen people mention that the DCT shift light can be coded to work on 6MT cars. It will not work plug-and-play and I am aware that further coding is required. I will most likely be hunting for a DCT cluster in order to add this function at a future date...

These clusters seem to have been suffering a good amount of depreciation lately and I figured now would be the best time to buy one before they potentially rise back up in price. Since I hate digital screens in cars (the iDrive is screen enough) I will NOT be upgrading to the fancy digital clusters no matter how enticing some paid YouTuber shill makes them seem!

M3 clusters do not have the front fog light icon if that's what you're asking. Fogs will still work but there's a low beam indicator in place of the front fog icon.

Variable redline will stop around 7200-7300 rpm. Additional coding will make it a even 7k.

Mileage won't matter because it will have to be virginized to work properly. I virginize and program them to be plug and play. Quite a few people can virginize, very few know how to make it plug and play.

Shift lights cannot be coded to work in a non M car. There are ways around this but require a additional device and expense.

Feel free to DM me and contact me through my IG page (in my signature). I've sold dozens of plug and play M3 clusters and hundreds of E9x in general.
