E91 Logic 7 Kit - SOLD
Hi, I’m thinking of selling my logic 7 setup for a E91. The kit is 95% complete, with just a couple of brackets and covers missing. This is a very rare setup to find near complete.
What’s included 1x centre dash speaker 2x front tweeters with pillar trims to suit 2x front door speakers 2x under seat subs 2x rear door tweeters 2x rear door speakers 2x rear roof speakers 1x Logic 7 Amp 1x Amp bracket 1x full loom for CIC car but can be converted to CCC I’ve been told - rare to find! (I bought this as a complete loom but haven’t inspected it but confident it includes all wires with none cut) What’s missing 2x rear roof speaker brackets 2x rear roof speaker covers 1x centre speaker cover These are all readily available online via the likes of eBay, AUTODOC or BMW, and can be bought cheaper than some of the prices shown on eBay by some sellers. Due to all of the above I’d be looking at £600 to part ways with it. I’m located near Braintree in Essex, I’d rather collection but can arrange courier at extra cost. GLWTS. I had just the base audio system in my E91 (although it had the HD to store music on) and it was incredibly underwhelming, so this is a good upgrade for sure 👍

Cheers, I had the base setup in my Pre LCI which is shockingly bad, hence I got this together. But I’ve since got a LCI 35i project I’m going to plough money into, go faster mods rather than nice music mods 🤣

Erm I don’t know mate, the amp, speakers etc are the same across the board, it would be all the extra wiring for the idrive that would be dorment. I know you can get logic 7 without the Idrive so it’s possible but it’s just if you can use the loom.

When I bought my E91 L7 kit it came only with the wires (and plug) from amp to each speaker and amp power.
As the amp is digital you really don't need any connection to the head unit, be it idrive or not. You will need to install fibre to the amp of course and power/ground if coming from base. I had hifi so already had an amp fitted. Harness for speakers is a lot of work to run, seats out, centre console out etc. Be mindful when ordering brackets as they are different for pano roof or solid roof. Holes for roof speakers are marked on back side of headlining, still not much fun to cut out. Cutting the holes for rear door tweaters were the worst bit for me. Centre speaker cover, LHD will fit (more plentiful used) but needs a piece of plastic trimming off. |

Thanks for the additional info Andy. Regarding the rear door card tweeters. I actually installed these on my Pre LCI, used a hole cutter on the rear wooden side of the card gently and when cut, used a very sharp Stanley to cut the leather and was spot on. I was more concerned with the roof speakers as didn’t know they were pre marked 🤣 was worried I’d do the wonky🤣
