E90/E91 lci headlight inspiration

Hi guys. I’m going to be opening up my lci xenon’s soon and was after a bit of inspiration. So feel free to post your custom headlights and setups

I went relatively simple and replaced the rings, painted the shrouds and eyebrows. I like the look of the chrome because it keeps an oem+ look.

If I were to go back, I would definitely either a projector or lens upgrade. I came from a car with fx-r projectors, so the oem xenon projectors were pretty disappointing.

I’m also keen to keep the indicator sections chrome but toying with doing a black chrome

That sounds great. You should try out a few smoke lacquers on test chrome to see which one you like the most.

Fitting a sequential led strip where the eyebrows are would be sweet.

Nice! What rings did you go with? I'm still on the fence about DTM vs round.

They're from bavgruppe. I had round rings on my 328i, they looked great, but I think the dtm rings just look a bit more modern and I love the thickness of the rings. They fit better with the overall look of my mods.

Here's a pic of my old 328 with DTM rings-- my 335i looks exactly the same except with the LCI headlights I shared above.

I think if you're trying to go with a clean timeless OEM+ look, the round rings are better.
