Not sure what happened from it selling 3-4 months ago, but the near perfectly spec'd E91 is back in EAG's hands...

100% agree. A 230hp E91, especially an x-drive example, is nothing short of boring to drive, 6MT or not.

If anyone is interested in a 6MT N52, I'll sell them a nice E90 330i 6MT (original owner) + E91 328i RWD combo that *together* are substantially less than what some people are paying for one E91. Fun driving in the E90 330i 6MT ZSP in Electric Red and then use the silver E91 RWD auto car for hauling stuff, parking where you don't care, etc.
Is this really possible? I checked realoem and if you compare the driveshafts between a rwd e91 and a rwd e90, they are different.

Also, just for fun I checked e91 rwd and xi and the driveshafts have different mounting to the transmission.

The E90 330i had a different driveshaft design than later E90s (it had front and rear guibo joints for example), but the length is the same between E90 and E91.

However, the point of my post was that I'd sell them two fully functional very good condition cars, the E90 330i ZSP 6MT and the E91 RWD auto, for less than the prices people are paying for an E91 6MT.

Ah yes sorry I was digressing, though I did understand your point, since I am legitimately interested in the swap process. We did not have any issues for my N54 + 6MT swap into my e91 since the entire motor + trans etc were swapped over, but if I wanted to do it again and keep the N52, the info you provided would be useful.

On another side note... do you still have your E3? I remember saving photos of your car from another forum if it's the same one in your profile photo. It was an inspiration for me when I used to have my '76 Bavaria many years ago.

Getting ready to post mine on BaT. Detailed today, polished and sealed the headlights, and polished and sealed the paintwork as well. Cleaned and treated the leather and vinyl trim.

I sold it a long time ago...1994, sadly. The new owner let later let it sit under a tree for many years, and Kadunza in Knoxville bought it about 3 years ago. They supposedly have plans to restore it one day. It's in pretty sad shape now unfortunately. Oh, and yes, it's the one in my avatar. I took those pictures of it in my driveway in 1988.

Here's a pic of it at Summit Point sometime in the mid-80s:

Take a whole series of undercarriage pictures on a lift including ones with the belly panels removed, etc. Also do a walk-around video showing all noteworthy flaws in addition to the overall quality of the car; add a cold start video; add a driving video displaying how it runs up through the gears, cruises, etc.

I sold my LeMans Blue E39 M5 on BaT back in late Spring, and it was an interesting experience. I was fortunate to have a wonderful buyer and closing the deal was quick and painless.

I actually bought this one on BaT back in June or July, so I'll be able to use some of those pics as well. I haven't done much or put many miles on it. Wife greenlighted a GT350 so I immediately lost interest.

Contemplating a sale of mine, west coast native 2007 328xiT 6 speed, sport pack, msport front and rear with carbon oem splitters, uuc bars, bilsteins and hr's, blah blah and 219's squared. 98000 miles, TiAg silver. Just did complete cooling system refresh and radiator, plus oil pan gasket (big job).

What should I ask for it ?

My wife wants a new car, and something has to go...

Honestly the Xdrive kills the value for most, does it have iDrive? If so knock some more $$ off.

I know I won't settle for Xdrive and I would even hesitate to buy a nice RWD with iDrive.

I'll get some more recent pics but I bought this a few years ago and looking to sell it soon-

https://bringatrailer.com/2016/05/18...007-bmw-328xi/

Just turned 180k. Since the ad above it's had some work done, new starter and alternator, oil pan gasket, oil filter adapter gasket.

Needs rear brakes (has good pad material but squeaking and clunks when stopping in reverse after moving forward). Should have bought better ones!

Also it's on the stock wheels/winter tires at the moment as one of the rear 18" tires needs to be replaced.

Looking for 8k obo

Congrats man, I use my e91 for a twin hauler now, understand the disappointment in needing to let it go! Good luck with the 3rd shopping. We considered a shit ton of vehicles and ended up going Durango R/T which had great room in the 3rd w/latch system. Also accessible without folding down rear captains chairs. We bought 2 months before the SRTs were released, might be trading up soon.
