Car looks awesome bro, I was thinking of taking the my 330d to get the 335 style exhaust done next month, now I've seen yours thats confirmed it, red looks great! I'm wondering whether if you can post a few shots of how your exhaust layout is underneath? I've been trying to find pictures of e92s but not many, lots and lots of e90s however -_- much appreciated

I just meant that "look" was a little low.

I thought it was about time to start my progress thread now that the weather is clearing up and my parts have started arriving. Every weekend in March and April has been scheduled for further progress on the car in order to get her looking how I would like. It’s coming along well, I think.

I have ventured over from the VAG community after owning a Golf GTI MK4 for the last 6 years. It was heavily modified and is an absolute pleasure to drive. Running 300bhp (rebuilt engine with forged internals, high-flow tubular exhaust manifold and a bigger turbo etc etc), with Porsche brakes and very stiff coilover setup, it’s one hell of a blast to drive hard. I knew I’d never be Ok with selling it so it is currently sitting quietly in a secret underground location( ), waiting to be brought back out when I am able to. Pics of her in Post 3.

Here are a few shots of the E92 as she currently looks in stock form:

Well done! Looks amazing!

No problem man, kit is called the Airlift Performance Kit, normal Accuair e-level management package, and 2 Viair 444c compressors. No pics of boot yet because it is completely raw and a total wreck - literally looks like a building site lol. Will be working on it in the near future to make it presentable.

Wheels are very basic, ordered a new set just yesterday in fact. The current specs in the above photos since Air Ride are:
19x8.5 et23 with 225/35/19 tyres
19x9.5 et23 with 235/35/19 tyres

The new setup will be a fair bit wider and more precise

Good luck with chasing down the issue you're having, keep me updated on that please

I do see what you mean, I personally used to hate super-low cars like this but it's a taste that I've slowly grown into lol. The rear at its lowest setting is a little too low for my liking too, especially on a non-M E92 body where the arches are very subtle. VAG cars pull off that look better with their more aggressive arches, as does an M3. Sigh...never happy, are we? Haha

The latest news:

Custom 3-piece wheels ordered yesterday with a 6-week lead time - I hope to see them in May some time. No teasers or significant info until they arrive though, they're worth the wait

So I'm just patiently (kinda...) waiting on my new wheels to arrive. They should be here next week according to the original ETA by the supplier. Let's see how that goes.

Tyres have been ordered in wait, and I will be doing a stud conversion next week before the wheels are ready to go on.

I also went to the "Show of Shows" yesterday by Car Show Collective with some of the other guys, but due to not applying until too late, I didn't get into the show+shine area as the class was already filled. So unfortunately my car was left repping in the public car park lol.

Here's a quick iPhone pic of it as one of the last few photos on the current wheels:
