Huper Optik Tint & Comfort Access

Hey all

A couple of weeks ago I plunged and got a deal on huper optik tint done by Sal in the OC and I'm very happy with the job, however have a concern - my comfort access still works, but isn't as snappy - sometimes takes awhile to register. Is this normal for the huper optik ceramic stuff, which I thought didnt interfere with the system?

Thanks
Blake

Search the forum. We do have some members with the sensitivity issues with Huper Optik and some don't.

With comfort access you still need to plug your fob into the car to charge it.

Correct, CA key fobs have traditional replaceable batteries, and do not recharge when you stick them in the slot - read the manual

I have the same issue only my drivers side door hardly ever works - was a problem even before tint.. my car is at the service center being looked at.. I'll update you if you'd like.. My passenger door however works just fine - no trouble.. Even when I roll the windows completely down and sunroof open, it still doesn't operate properly.. so..... it may not be just the tint itself.. you said it's not as snappy - ever had problems getting it to open even after a couple seconds.. mine just wont work period sometimes until you take the key out of your pocket..

I've had nothing but problems with CA since I installed a Huper 50 tint about 2 weeks ago. It worked perfectly before. I would not do it again.
