What about the DAB+?
When are they going to look into the bugs?
There are some big issues that should be fixed.
The fact is that they are selling the adapter, and need to give some support.
Havent heard anything about the bugs you mailed to them (Fei): 08.12.2014

Are you located in the U.S.? Obviously not, because we don't have DAB+ in the US & don't deal with it at all.

Jeff the vendor/distributor in the US (and the op of this thread) has nothing to do with solving problems outside the U.S.

He only deals with problems from his customers in his selling area- you need to be sending your complaints to the vendor you bought your unit from...

1QuikWS6, I think he is in Norway which means he likely DID buy it from me....although I certainly appreciate you posting that! Its been BAD around here lately with the "I didnt buy it from you but I was hoping you could do XYZ for me...."

Giz, email me about this so I know who you are etc...I think I remember but finding your emails in the tens of thousands in my inbox is a bit challenging if I dont have the right name to search.....keep in mind I talk to hundreds of people between the forums and email at any given time so I need something to reference. Then I can follow up with them to see if there have been any changes with the DAB stuff.

As Im sure we have discussed there is little testing I can do personally with this since I cant even get past the "scan for channels" part since we dont have DAB here in the US.

I just updated to 1.1.1 and am experiencing the same thump on startup if I leave the radio on with Dyna-bass selected.

I can't confirm for iPod, as Jeff informed me I own the oddball generation that has problems working with other systems.

The fact is I bought it from jeff.
I know U dont have DAB in US.
But as I wrote I allready emailed jeff 5 month ago about some huge bugs with the DAB unit.
I havent heard anything. Nothing from Dynavin. Why?

The bugs are so anoying with the DAB unit, that it cant even be clasified as a Beta product...

The main unit is awsome, no doubt. I love it.

I am not saying it is your fault Jeff, but it needs attention from dynavin badly.
Dynavin for sure wanted my money. So at least they could give me an answer on status...

They should have good comunication with there vendor/distributor so they can answer theese question. But it dosent seem to be.

well I just got confirmation that my N6 is on the delivery truck to be delivered and I'm pretty excited about it but I do have one question does the system come already installed with the latest and greatest updated software or do I have to install the latest?

I can't wait - I feel like a kid on Christmas morning - and the funny thing is that this aint even for me - I bought it for my wife's 335 as her Mother's Day gift that she doesn't know is coming.

since the 1.1.1 update only came out a couple weeks ago it might have 1.0.1 on it.....its easy enough to check though, just go to the "info" screen, the firmware version is listed there.

im still getting this bug occasionally with 1.1.1

when put into reverse, sometimes all PDC sensors goes off for 1-2 seconds and on Dynavin screen it shows red on both front and rear but i only have rear PDC

Same here! And it wont switch to camera if you have reverse engaged when you start the car.

The new reverse lines are a big improvement though, since i got my camera installed in the trunk handle. Not perfect, should be an option to tweak the lines.

The navigation voice is REALLY loud, maybe i missed an option, but when she is speaking, and I turn the volume down, the lowest setting is still very LOUD.

Ive asked for an option to "tweak" the reverse lines, sounds like it might happen in the next firmware.

There is a known bug involving it not switching to the reverse camera if it's in reverse already at start up. That will be fixed as well.

For nav, although with 1.1.1 Dynavin gave us a "quick volume" with the knob, there are still a full set of volume controls within the nav menu for more granular control of the different sounds and voices, turn those down. Below 1/3 seems to be about right to then give sufficient range with the knob.

Well I am ecstatic to report that I installed the Dynavin this past weekend. Took me about 3.5 - 4.0 hours for the full install (thanks to the DIY guide on Page 1 - which I pretty much followed to a Tee) and I was taking my time plus running wires in these cars seem tedious because they are so "air tight" per se. but nevertheless wifey was surprised when she came back in town this weekend and got into her car and to her amazement the Nav screen booted up. Still working on all the settings but I can definitely tell you that the Logic 7s 13 speakers are LOUDER! I was contemplating adding a sub in the trunk but after hearing the stereo with the Dynavin - I can seriously say that its NOT necessary as it elevates the LOGIC 7 to a whole nother level and I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks Again Jeff!

Jeff, I know I don't have the N6 unit but have a question regarding the D99. I was installing the unit to a hifi car and everything was working fine. When I went to button everything up, turn the unit on I get a blinking "back" on the screen. No buttons on the unit work at all. I've tried to unhook everything and reset the unit same thing. Do you know what is causing this? Thanks.

No idea, Ive never seen anything like that and Ive dealt with thousands of D99 and D99+ units.....are you sure its even a dynavin and not one of the knock offs?

If nothing else press the reset button? Unplug power?

I've press the reset button many times already and unplugged it. How do I determine if this is a knock offs?

well....it either looks like a dynavin or it looks like something else. Does the box say dynavin on it? Post a pic of it?

I'm continuing to have issues with the Nav volumes with 1.1.1. I too was having the VERY loud speech coming out of it. I would fiddle with the volume controls but they never seem to stick to the settings. Now for the past two days after another ear blaster incident I must have done something because now she won't make a peep (only nav has this issue). I fiddled with the vol settings (not the knob) and looked at all other preferences and can not get her to speak again! The loudness problems I've had do seem to be related to the volume knob as it is usually just an issue when I have the music turned up a bit and then turn the car off and back on again while still in a route.

Can you explain exactly how this quick volume feature is supposed to work? I think they hosed something with it.

within the igo menu set the wanted volume and sound settings to about 1/4 to 1/3. Turn the unwanted noises off by pressing the speaker icon, an X will appear over the speaker icon for that setting. The "master volume" will default to max, leave it there.

Then use the dynavins volume knob to set the voice to a comfortable level. You can "force" the nav to speak by going to the voice selection screen and making a selection, as its talking, adjust the knob.

Now going forward, anytime the nav is talking the volume knob will control the nav volume only.

Here's a strange quirk I discovered today with 1.1.1.

With the radio volume turned all the way down (no sound) when the navigation voice comes on, the radio can now also be heard while the voice is taking. When the nav is done talking, the radio goes back to silence too.

It's like it's still trying to turn down the radio so you can hear the nav directions, but the radio is already turned all the way down.

I think I've hit that one too. Another odd one is sometimes the SD card tunes (maybe other inputs too, whatever it was last set to before turning off) will come on when they are supposed to be off and I reverse (I have a reverse camera).
