Water in the trunk

Heeeeellllppppp guys.
I got water spilled in the trunk of my 07 328i. When i raise the vloume there is no bass and the speaker on the passenger door sounds like it is destroyed. There are too many electronics in the trunk and i have no idea where the problem is coming from. The most of the water was in the left side of the trunk.
What do i need to know before i try to get it fixed?
Thanks

The left side of the trunk is where the OEM amp is on a hi-fi or Logic 7 system so if the amp is sitting in a pool of water that would be bad news.

It hasn't rained for days, where did you find water? Carwash?

Do you think i can get it fixed or i need to change the whole thing? There is a problem only when i raise the volume so maybe not the whole amp is damaged.

You can't really service the oem amp....most likely will have to get it replaced.

I would pull the trunk liners and see where the water went....dry out any remaining water.

You should have disconnected the battery until you knew everything was dry....you most likely fried the amp.

I would definitely let it dry before trying to use it again. It may be too late already though.
