Removing front license plate holders.
Hey guys, I'm going to remove my front license plate holder next week. I bought touch up paint already. I was wondering if I can just use some type of spackle to cover up the holes and then just use the touch up paint to paint over it, will that work? I know it won't look perfect, but I'm thinking it might look better than bumper plugs. If anything, I can always go to Home Depot or Lowes to buy some sort of plugs and then paint over them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Since you have a darker colored car, I bet you'll hardly see it.
I removed my front plate on my AW and left it like that lol I haven't found anything good to cover it up with. |

I'm not going to spend $25+ on some plastic. I might as well go to the Home Depot or Lowes to get something and plug up the damn holes. lol! I'll see if the spackle works. And if it does, I'll post a DIY!!!

The best bet is just make sure you don't put a front plate on from the beginning... LOL

You could get some plumbers epoxy paste. When you mix the 2 compounds together it is a pretty think paste that does not drip, almost like clay. I'd test it first to see if it is paintable.
This Stuff: http://www.acehardware.com/sm-pc-7-e...i-1409482.html Homer depot will have it

you can use nails if you want and use touch up paint on that.
