Is there anyone else on this voyage who hasn't heard from their dealer besides me? My car still shows at the VPC

Maybe it was damaged, but I just don't know.

SUX NOW I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT CAR AND ITS AT DEALERSHIP!!! TO BAD THEY ARE 1 hour and 30 minutes away or i would of been there...gunna gave to go either tomarrow or during another weekday with low traffic...

Picked mine up about 2 hours ago. Had to go back to work but god this car can move. Got up to 100 before it even felt like I was moving and looked down. Pictures to follow sometime this weekend! THE WAIT IS OVER!

Car cleared customs on August 13th and my dealer is still telling me that delivery will be sometime before the end of the month. Is this lame or what? I can't believe the VPC is so busy that a car needs to stay there more than 2 days. I have called ED and need to check that the car wasn't dropped off the ship and they are rebuilding it.

Even though mine cleared on the 10th, it didn't even get to the VPC until the 15th. And I hear from other ED'ers that the VPC is running THIRTEEN DAYS now for ED cars!!!

I got mine on Friday and the weekend was beatiful here in RI. OMG this car is just out of this world... I love it! So steady on the road and the CA is great. Im really glad i added this option.

Pics will follow soon. My laptop was sent back to HP for some battery problems...

Well, if VPC is running behind for ED cars it makes me feel a bit better. That means they are probably not reconstructing the car after falling off the ship. Thanks for the response.

Yeah I'm sure your car is fine; but 13 days is a bit unfortunate imho. But of course there's nothing we can do about it but be patient. Maybe a bunch of us can go in on a VPC expansion programme.

Called European Delivery folks located in California. They told me that my car left VPC today and is on the way to South Carolina, to then be transferred to another truck, and headed to Florida. Well, at least it escaped the VPC. Seems like a lot of trucking for one car.

What number did you use? I'd love to call those guys... Isn't the ED office in NJ and not CA?

CA told me this morning that my car, too, has made it onto a truck. But estimated delivery not until next week

Well I learned the car has passed through the VPC but is waiting for a truck. It took 5 days to go from Customs to the VPC so I imagine it may sit at a lot there for a while...

Congratulations, still waiting for mine in sunny and hot Florida. Could have driven the car from Bayonne to Florida faster than BMW has transported it.

Picked it up yesterday! AWESOME! Photos will come along sometime, but work's keeping me really busy these days. Hope everyone who hasn't gotten their car yet gets it soon! It's well worth the wait.
