335i with ///M profile tyres

I'm looking to replace my 245/35 19 & 275 35 19 nitto NT05's as they're pretty much finished after my recent roadtrip.

Got a few questions up for discussion!

Q1. Have any of you 335i guys upsized to big boy ///M profiles? i.e from a 245/35 to 245/40 and 275/30 to 275/35 tyres? I'm keen on more sidewall for comfort and protection (I run 19" M3 comp pack rims and wish to keep them rather then downsizing to a 18" rim)

Q2. Advan AD08R's, Bridgestone RE71R, Michelin cup 2 or hankook RS4's are on the list. Have any of you guys had experience with any of these tyres?

Q3. Have any of you guys run a 255/40 19 up front? I mainly have scrubbing issues on rear not normally the fronts..

Hey, I remember having a bit of back and forth with you/using some of your posts as a guide when trying to decide if I could fit OEM 359's on a non-///m E92, but I cannot remember...are those OEM 359's? If so, I'm shocked you were able to fit the tire sizes you described above as is. If they are, well hey, more power to ya!

Hi mate

Yes oem ZCP rims.

In normal surburban driving I would hardly get any scrubbing, but on high speed bumpy roads it was scrub city on the rear left (RHD car loaded up with luggage 20L of fuel and a full size spare).

The rear guards are rolled, bumper tabs shaved, liner cut and I run BC coilovers with quite high spring rates, I shaved 3mm off the rear hub face, alignment is neg 3 at the front and neg 2 at the rear (for handling not for clearance it was kinda Ok with neg 1 up front and 0.5 degree on the rear)

Update: My rear left tyre was scrubbing due to excessive toe, stupid wheel aligner had it way out!

Oi, right now it is starting to come back to me a bit...I didn't want to get into messing with camber too much or shaving the bumper tabs or anything like that. I am on KW DDC's with rear fenders rolled and pulled a tiny bit (I think) and on the stiffest setting get minimal rubbing. That said, I run PSS, which is apparently one of the widest shouldered tires out there.

But hey, your setup is sweet, Again, if you have the patience and the mental toughness to deal with all the dialing in of camber, coils, sizes, etc. then good for you I'm very impatient and drive myself crazy with much smaller issues, so I would blow a gasket trying to figure out all that stuff lol

A bit of an old thread, but not too dead, I hope. I've been scouring the web for any/every piece of info I can find. I want to fit the following on an E92 335i with MSport suspension;

19x9 +29 - 255/35/19 front
19x10 +40 - 275/35/19 rear

Any thoughts?

245/35 & 265/35 would be a better fit IMO
