Part numbers please?
Took the 35 for alignment and the rear 'bolts' were supposedly too tight (?) and needed replacing as per alignment guy. I assume he is referring to camber bolts? Could somebody please enlighten me
Searching on realoem has me finding this bolt to be the 'eccentric bolt' - p/n 33326764292 https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...;q=33306784983 Is this right? Would replacing the bolts alone be sufficient to get the car into good alignment or will I need to replace the whole assembly? For the front I've just purchased lemforder tracking arms and front m3 control arms (as an upgrade because the original bushings are worn) |

Yes you would only need the eccentric bolts/nuts as assume he is saying they are seized. So they'll need to be cut out and replaced to allow the alignment to be carried out.
I just had this on the X5. Once replaced they'll be able to just do the alignment as normal for the camber.

are there any other bolts that need to be free on the rear to do an alignment, i have some m3 front arms to fit first but want to make sure everything is free before i take it to be aligned.

As far as I'm aware, it's just the 2 sets of camber bolts (4 in total) that shouldn't be seized in order for alignment. This is what the garage carrying out the alignment pointed out to me atleast.
