Not yet mate. I’m in Perth so I don’t think I’ll have many options either.

Replaced my post-cat o2 sensors as they were creating slight fuel trim and code issues.

Installed the VRSF 7" HD FMIC, flashed MHD stage 2+ and got her running on E50. Took her out for a quick spin and had a couple of runs with a modded WRX, no contest.

Guess I'm more or less maxed out on stock turbos, still tossing up on whether I should get a custom tune as I have inlets. Already sussing up a long term plan for handling mods, some nice wheels LSD etc before I get too silly with manual conversionand single turbo ideas.

I have had the xHP TCU Stage 3 tune installed in my ZF 6HP21 transmission ever since it was released for my car (Sept 2006 build) about a year ago. I hadn't kept up with progress until a week ago and found out that some new versions and custom changes were available. So today, I updated the App from version 2.0.3 to 2.1.7 and the Stage 3 tune from version 0.9 to 2.1. Also, I purchased a Customisation Licence which allows you to change various settings in the transmission such as Shiftpoints, Kickdown, Gear Display, Start from 2nd Gear, Throttle Blips and the one that interested me most the M Shiftpoint Editor. The last one allows you to alter the speed of each gear change either slower or faster while in M mode. I altered the first 3 changes to 18% faster than the default settings and they feel much faster. I need to do a datalog to see how much difference this makes. It could be what I require to get into the 10s times. Currently, I was losing approx. 0.3s per gear change so an improvement of a couple of hundredths of a second per change is all that is required. I only need 0.05s.

E36 M3 looks great Hoper. It would be a different machine to drive compared with the 335i.

Yes Coupes, very different,

Much lighter in the controls, and just feels lighter and more nimble, but I really miss the torque of the 335

The M3 goes good with a few revs under it's belt, it pulls all the way to 7k and never feels like it's going to give up, excellent motor in that regard, but the torque of the 335 is much more addictive

The M3 is very nice to drive on a country road, when I take it down the coast it really gives you confidence that it just won't chuck you off the road, even if your past your skill level, which I often am

You should join ///M Club Australia Hoper and go on some of their drives. You would certainly enjoy the drive in the M3.

Too many silly and expensive ideas to choose from after buying an auto, non-M performance car dude

M3 style widebody kit
Manual swap
Single turbo

"All of the above" in good time is what I'd aim for

I purchased a service kit for the Forge DVs and reconditioned them. Replaced pistons and 'O' rings. I installed blue springs a few months ago.
