Waiting for big twins from Pure or Hexon. Motiv900 is a big maybe.

Either way the turbo's will need to take a lot of boost. Lets hope the new Pure's are as boost friendly and seemingly reliable as the stage 2's.

Greddy turbos never really stood out to me over Garretts. Garrett always came out with the good HKS turbos after HKS's exclusivity period ran out.

If you want the best, custom manifold with Borgwarner EFR is it. I'm not saying it'll be cheap or easy.

I honestly thought HKS would have done a N54 turbo kit when I 1st bought my car, but with the whole GFC I think most jap tuners stuck to the basics...

Such a shame as I'm sure their turbos would have been reliable at least

Unsure what flex was alluding to, but AFAIK our stock turbos are made by mitsubishi HI, and greddy use their turbos also

I have had everything from hks to tomei turbos on sr20dets and nothing was more menacing than a greddy td06 L2 turbo on a sr20det ..... Was a all new level beast .... Only the L2 version though lol .... Even the small t517z greddy was awesome ✌️

The biggest issue, an engine mount relocation has already been fabricated for a single turbo kit with the thought in mind of Garrett, BorgWarner EFR etc..locally for quite some time now. Not sure if he can be bothered finishing the kit with the big twins on the way...less lag and driveability. I am in the same camp but would love the mid / top end.

Basically its cost given the development and gear on my car to date.

I now know from first hand experience. Don't believe the hype mate. Not everything you hear is gospel.
LOL. Absolutely. Well aware.

Bev has made good power for a while. Always chased a result from 1st week of purchase from new. Tried the whole gammut over time.

My old RBs were all that was available when I started chasing bigger power over the original 300rw that I had early in the piece. No single turbo's either.

The Pure stage 2 guys will well setup cars should go 440-450rwkw on a dyno dynamics. Looking forward to that.

Always keep an eye on local and US forums. Wondered over here as I thought we should all fess up in order to keep people as informed as possible. But it seems we have quite a few tight lipped smokers around. We all end up reinventing our cars so cant see why the RB smokers wont tell. Perhaps they reckon there is a market for refurb RBs of some kind.
