engine stalling in park.
2011 335i e90 performance edition
Only thing that isnt stock is the BMS intake. So yesterday i went to leave and i usually let my car warm up for 1-2 mins before i get going and the car stalled after about a minute. It struggled to start back up a few times but i let it sit for a couple mins then it started right up like nothing happened. It runs perfect while driving. i tested it out later that night and sure enough if i just let it idle in park it will stall after 1-2 mins. i let it idle in drive and its fine. I used mhd to run the codes and these came up 2BC0 fuel-air mixture too lean 2BEA fuel-air mixture too lean, large deviation 2BF8 rail pressure sensor, signal : permanently stuck shadow codes 2BDE fuel high pressure on enabling of injection: pressure too low 2BF0 (a bunch of german) 2C42 mixture control: multiple fault I replaced my HPFP about 22k miles ago when it was throwing a CEL while under heavy load and stalling out while i was driving on the highway. it was fine for about a year then i started stalling while idling in drive-thru and at red lights. Took it to my local mechanic (bmw/merc specialist) and he smoke tested for vacuum leaks and found the rubber boot where the intake goes into the manifold was leaking so he replaced that part and the car has run perfect for the last 5 months or so until yesterday. I already have the VRSF cattless DP ordered and i plan to go stage 2 with MHD and stage 3 with xhp shortly after the holidays but this shit has me worried. |

Maybe it's the fuel pressure sensor this time. It would suck if it's the HPFP again. I had those same codes except the rail pressure sensor code and my problem ended up being the HPFP.

UPDATE???
2011 335i, Having the exact same issues. Im on the same HPFP, and running a custom mhd tune. Basically, started the car and a minute later it stalled. my STFT and LTFT's are going crazy, >15% on both, and basically stalling whenever the car gets below 800-900 RPM. Codes: 2BC0, 2BEA, 2BF4, (Shadow: 2C42, 2BDE, 2BF0). Recently replaced MAF sensor to no avail. Did you fix the issue? Im thinking Rail Pressure Sensor or Pre-Cat O2 sensor.
Id hate to just throw parts at the problem, or take the car into the indie shop for $100 Diag fee just for them to say, I dont know but let's START with the "insert part". I can do that myself minus the $100 diag fee.

Had this code 2BDE before, For me it was the Fuel Pressure Regulator.
It caused stalling, Rough idle and starvation of fuel to my HPFP causing similar issues. I hope this helps.
