And we picked up Elsa's rain today, in a big way, 4 inches in under 12 hours. Just thinking how they could use this out west.

Not exactly a snapshot, but here's a shot I did of my friend's beat up E34 as he got it (he likes to document before/after, like the 6 series I posted a while back). It was a handheld HDR, 3 exposures bracketed in Lightroom. Given that the flare was different in all 3 shots thanks to being handheld and having to adjust the settings in between shots, I'm shocked it came out as well as it did. Only took me maybe 5 minutes to edit. Not my greatest but still, I like it.

My wife just sent me a link to that-- it goes through Sept 26, and I'm debating if it's worth the effort to fly out from Denver to see it.

Yes, I did. Don't expect a big display, but it is very interesting. However the location is very near a lot of wineries, the Hearst Castle, and the coast. I wanted to see it because the pictures I saw were very interesting to me. YMMV.
But honestly, I don't think I would make that big of an effort to see it unless, as I mentioned, you want to see the other sights located nearby.

Thanks-- that gives me the ammunition to make my life easier. I've been to Hearst Castle several times and my wife's a member of a bunch of the wineries in Paso. It would have been a "fly out that morning, do the lights, spend the night, fly back the next morning" sort of thing which, while doable, would be a hassle.

Good to know that it's not really worth that much effort. Thanks again!

I should put more effort into learning processing.
I should also have put more effort into taking this pic (in camera HDR). I saw this tree and was amazed.
