Can't help but might be worth calling your local BMW parts dept for a price on a battery and asking them the exact spec that you need, IIRC some that have 'brake regen' need the AGM batteries which aren't cheap. And any new battery will need to be coded to the car to ensure it lasts as long as possible. Never knew this before I bought my E91... sounds mad but it's true!

I was looking at batteries for my E90 320d the other day. This is mine.
I worked out I need the Exide EK950 which I found on eBay for around £135. It'll need registering, of course. It looks very similar to yours. Hope this helps. |

When I needed one a few years ago I just put my reg number in ECP’s site and decided to go with an up rated at 95ah Bosch which was about £160 (can’t remember exactly). Just at the last minute I decided to check eBay for the same battery and found ECP were on there selling it for £100! So I bought and payed for it click and collect then went and picked it up an hour later from my local branch!
I registered it with Carly. |

Before you order a battery you need to measure the length, width and height of your existing battery then check this against a battery type. Then search for that battery type.
For example I fitted a type 115 AGM battery to my E92 330i a year ago. Exact model was Yusa, YBX9115. Type 9000. Best to get yourself an AGM type. Your car will have had one from the factory. Remember to register new battery. |
