What new version mafless IAT tune? Where can I get this new file? I’ve tried the all the files on bimmerlabs but I find the AA TUNE 3stage to be better. When was this new mafless iat tune released?

Didnt mean to misconstrue. Was asking hassmachine if there was an updated version released as I didn't get the normal 2FA3 yet. But I had gone back and forth with MAF/noMAF and since I installed the actual IAT things seemed pretty smooth.

hassmaschine Just wanted to update on the 330i NoMAF tune for my 2011 E90 328i. I made sure I definitely coded the NoMAF version and I have swapped in an IAT. But for whatever reason (this is positive) I still have the ability to use cruise control.

Thought I'd drop my UIF and read out to provide data. Also, as I mentioned before, I hadnt gotten a 2FA3 this time around either. Again, all positives in my book, but hopefully this provides some info.

Car runs awesome otherwise with headers and MILVS. I wanna get it dyno'd whenever my friend has another dyno day.
I've done everything with the MAFless. The only thing to fix the dsc is by recalibration. I used bimmergeeks app to recalibrate my dsc and everything is good.

What does the DSC calibration in Bimmergeeks perform exactly? Was it just like clearing adaptations or was it the full valve calibration where it buzzes and makes you press on the pedal as it bleeds?

I followed this thread to clear DSC and it didn't help - I also cleared my DME adaptions as well but it didn't work. May try the reset in ISTA-D

Okay I tried the "DSC Unit Adjustment" in ISTA-D and it did not help. Gonna try a few other things and report back. I may have to hunt down someone with a Bimmergeeks Protool module to reset DSC for me in case it performs another function that I can't.

Tried resetting the steering angle sensor, doing the DSC unit adjustment along with calibrating the traversal? DSC sensor in ISTA. Cleared adaptations/CBS. Made sure the cruise control settings in Perfekt Toolbox looked good (I've done a cluster swap). Doubled checked CC was still in my VO, recoded all modules back to stock. Nothing. Back at square one.

I followed steps to delete RSA applied the MSV80 without MAF delete.
Car drives very well. Easily noticeable on power it makes everywhere on RPM range.

BUT. I got errors on engine control and transmission.
I have 2011 E91 328i xDrive with n52K and manual 6 speed transmission.

I used the two flash files in the screen shots. I don't know which of the 4 tunes to use so I didn't.
I repeat, I have a manual LCI xDrive N52K

Two of those are related to the little outside air quality sensors and shouldn't affects anything, you can check their wiring and such to see you didn't damage them.

The 2fa3 is normal after the time and the 5f78 code I don't know about but every time i do something like a flash or reset anything in the car or disconnect the battery I'll get several temporary xdrive codes and this seems to go away but I don't even know if that's a dsc code I'd clear them and see what happens.

Those 4 files you don't need to mess with at all unless trying to go back to stock. All you need is to flash the rsa delete as you have and pick between the 330i tune or mafless tune

Started again today and all codes went away!!

Now how do I test the DISA values? I have some used ones lying around and I want to test them using connector for bigger one before selling.

Great! Plug em in to the connector of the large disa. It'll actuate both the small one and large one just fine. Use inpa.

I actually did do some minor updates to the tunes. Mainly to reduce the potential for errors. I haven't updated all of them yet but I went through a big chunk of them. I still intend to sort out the GM trans flash (there *are* hardware differences).

Literally, a couple weeks ago.

AA can't even do the same no-MAF tune, even if they charged you $500 for it.

The only error here related to the flash is 2FA3. It's also meaningless, but you can eliminate it by default coding the DME. It won't hurt anything otherwise. It's been talked about many times before.

The other errors are either unrelated to the DME or are hardware issues.

Yes. You don't have to flash the whole DME either. Just flash the stock tune that matches the current program - either 921S for MSV80 or MI20S for MSV80. The RSA delete only disables the signature check, it doesn't affect the engine in any way.

Are these updates anything performance/drive ability related? If so then I'll have to give the new files a whirl

Could have been caused by a failed flash I attempted without RSA delete, thinking RSA delete was already done when I got 335i cluster coded to the car.

But all gone next day restart. I think my early "restart" were too close to shut down and the car didn't actually "restart" the DME and associated running codes.

In addition to power, the throttle now responds a lot more! Yes, there is close to half a second delay on initial free spin from the heavy dual mass flywheel, but you can tell the car drives completely different now.
You have to change the clutch actuation by left foot now, because lazy left foot will make the car jerk like hell on stop and go.

Automatics won't make much difference. The. Computer decides how your car shifts.

I've only done coding with winkfp, do you flash back to stock the same way?

WinKFP doesn't do coding - you could use comfort mode, but then you will overwrite the RSA delete. It's better to just use the batch file to flash the stock calibration that matches the RSA delete program version.
