If you want to avoid the work of covering up the brake discs and other surrounding areas so that you can spray paint, purchase a G2 Brake Caliper Paint Kit and do it using the provided brush. There are instructional videos on Youtube. I did mine 4 yrs ago and the calipers are as good now as when I first done them.

Now that does look good. I thought the blue would look a bit much, but that is neat.

So I started at about 11.30am and so far I've got one caliper off and disassembled, and 1st coat of paint.

I have no idea how you guys did the whole lot in a couple of hours. You must have had some super cleaning powers because my brakes still aren't clean and I've spent hours upon hours scrubbing, spraying and rinsing.

Use caliper paint. Dont forget to use a wire brush and brake cleaner to thoroughly clean the caliper.

Long story, but I bought blue, tested it and it was crap, so now it's silver.

After so much pain and effort, they're going to be silver. I wonder why I bothered.

Hey naynay, which caliper paint did you use, and where did you get it from??

All the caliper paints I could find were flat gloss in boring colours. Yours looks like a burnt orange metallic??
