Lip spoiler install?

I have an OEM lip spoiler for my 06 sedan. What's the best way to mount it? I've heard betalink but I'm looking for a lesser than permanent installation. I've seen the 3M VHB 5952 from another post but just wanted to be sure. I can't find that tape anywhere in my area and would have to order it. The spoiler is kind of heavy in my opinion for tape. I want some that would hold it there even when going 80 down the highway.. Help?

I used 3M double sided tape and it's been fine for 4 years, on a daily driver including Canadian winters, and several car washes.

Do you by chance remember what type? Auto, vhb, etc?

I used 3m vhb on my PE spoiler, have also had it installed for about 4 years now. Holding up fine and the car is not garage kept. As long as you clean the two surfaces well, it should adhere with no problem. I actually taped down my spoiler with blue painters tape for the first week or so after installation, just in case and the tape also added a bit of downward pressure.

I think it was auto but not sure.

I was also told auto and some other variant are actually the same but in different packaging.

Don't know much more than that.

Good luck
