Most likely will be selling mine (2009 LCI BMW 328i Wagon rwd with nav, cold weather, f&r parking sensors)in great condition. Had full synthetic oil change, oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, and serpentine belt replaced at the dealer. Over $4k of maintenance done within the last month. 96k miles. Asking $12k. There are of course deals to be found and exceptions, I recall an accident repaired but still clean titled 6MT Le Mans listed for $21k or something that sold in 24 hours.

I think there are more buyers out there than sellers, but most buyers seem ready to wait to find a good deal. I personally paid on the higher end but found a car with exactly the options I wanted along with a full maintenance history.

It takes the right buyer to come along though. Banks and credit unions won't finance the higher end of the spectrum, for example 22k on the BaT car. It has to be a cash or 50% cash buyer because on paper these cars aren't anything special to insurance companies, which limits your pool of buyers.

Generally I think the lower mileage cars are holding value but some of the higher mile cars are slipping. There have been a few listings of nice cars that just aren't selling quickly and have 80-100k on them.

I'm still holding out for a second wagon, a pre-LCI 6MT in red. I've expanded my search to include 6MT E83's though since I want something I can treat more as a beater and not feel guilty if it catches a ding or scratch.

Its a desirable color combo with the sport package, xenons, heated seats, RWD and auto.

The carfax shows damage but no wrecks, which doesn't make much sense, and it failed emissions a number of times. The price is very very good though, and that could probably pay for a lot of troubleshooting. Its a bit higher mileage at 141k, but these cars have shown that they can run for a looong time if you take care of them.

They're oem BMW 19inch style 230 wheels. 19×8/19×9. 37/39 offset. 225/35/19 and 255/30/19.

Nice 2010 with 80k miles on the west coast (Oregon). Space Gray over Black (sport) interior with brushed aluminum trim. The interior looks like it could use a cleaning and steering trim replacement. But nicely optioned and no iDrive!

The transmission swap in my E91 is complete, and I couldn't be happier with it! No CEL or other issues. In fact, except for the holes where the paddle shifters used to be, you wouldn't be able to tell that the car used to be an auto. For those who are still searching: if you find an auto that checks all the boxes, you should consider it.

I'll be doing a full build thread at some point. Just want to add we also threw in AA headers and intake manifold from the 330i and the car feels so much more alive. Next up: M-Sport front bumper + maybe headliner swap.
